This car is dead. I bought it as an incomplete wreck which had been partially burnt out after a manage a trois gone wrong. It was missing the original motor and the body was a mess. I sold off various bits and cut the body up around 1988. The front guards, front doors, bonnet, grille, stone tray, F&R bumpers and most of the floor pan have been transplanted to FeralVG - my strip only, 440 powered VG sedan.

The car passed through several owners before I purchased it. It is approaching the completion of a marathon length restoration, complicated by me living overseas. It was originally a Melbourne car. I have the original owner's contact details. It has been verified as matching numbers by the owners of the VG Pacer list.

I purchased the car in late 2001, it had not been running for some years previously. It is missing it's original block and transmission, had been fitted with a 4 speed. Have slowly been accumulating the parts to restore it. I'm still looking for an E34 block.

Originally purchased from Chadstone Chrysler for a trip around Auz. It was then brought over to NZ in early 1972. It went through three other significant ownership stints through the 70's, 80's, & 90's before I found it in early 2002. I sold it only six months later to fund the purchase of an R/T. I was lucky enough to buy it back in June 2006 after always kicking myself for selling it. It’s a solid original car that I will one day restore back to its former glory as seen in the attached pictures that were taken only one month after its original purchase! I look forward to the day I embellish it with fresh new hemi orange paint against the original black interior & hood lining with the bright blue carpet.

Important information about ads: This site has been running for 22 years, providing information about Chrysler Valiant Pacers. The site has never made a penny (it was never intended to do so) and was built for the love of Pacers, however it has always cost money to run. In 2018 I put some ad's on the site to see if the website can somehow cover its costs and so far the ads look like they'll cover about 50% of the annual running costs. If you see an ad that interests you, please click on it, as it will help! Just seeing ads does not achieve anything, and so if you would rather not see any ad's, you can click here to not see any more. It looks like you've opted to not see any ads, which is fine, but if you want you can turn them back on here.
