The car passed through several owners before I purchased it. It is approaching the completion of a marathon length restoration, complicated by me living overseas. It was originally a Melbourne car. I have the original owner's contact details. It has been verified as matching numbers by the owners of the VG Pacer list.
2015 Update- Car was recently purchased from Newcastle Nsw, Fully Restored and now resides in Tasmania, see current Pic
The car came from the factory with black carpet which should have seen it with an N2 trim code. The N3 on the compliance plate should have given a tan carpet. (Another case of someone not checking the build sheet properly on the shop floor). It is believed that the car was built around the 17/08/1970 because a hand written date was found on the fuel tank during its restoration
Important information about ads: This site has been running for 22 years, providing information about Chrysler Valiant Pacers. The site has never made a penny (it was never intended to do so) and was built for the love of Pacers, however it has always cost money to run. In 2018 I put some ad's on the site to see if the website can somehow cover its costs and so far the ads look like they'll cover about 50% of the annual running costs. If you see an ad that interests you, please click on it, as it will help!
