Paddock Rescue VG Pacer Sedan, no time to complete as new baby has arrived, wife says sell. Many parts. includes 2 x 265 engines/auto gearbox reconditioned, radiator and more.Straight car with usual rust, compliance plate lost, roof needs some work

This car had been sitting since 1985 in a barn in outback NSW. It is a #'s matching car with books, The car does however need a resto and is next in line after my 34.

Aquired 2004 running hot 265 original motor sitting in the shed getting looked after day to day runner if needed kicks arse,

I have recently purchased a VG Pacer. S-7-41/988. I am interested to know more about history of the car, like where it was delivered etc.

Purchased from elderly second owner-vehicle is a sound survivor car having spent the majority of it's 36 years in Central Victoria and Country NSW.Vehicle is fully registered and is driven when ever the opportunity arises.

Traded in for chrysler talbalt in early 80's,tried looking for it must be gone.

Another one rescued.I'm hopefully the last of its many owners since it was brought to NZ in the early 70's. I bought it off an associate who was getting out of Mopars as he got spooked selling fast cars to kids who wrote the cars and themselves off..As you would. The history I get is that it was extensively rebuilt after {surprise} some young hoons backed it into a lamppost @ 80mph.While they did a pretty good job on the body they really stuffed up the stripes-mixing the standard stripe kit with the optional ?A88 ones...which still perplexed or fooled alot of people, but it was still good enough to be my wedding car along with a VH pacer and an E49 clone. After a long cold winter she's going to the painter to sort out the black bonnet and door frames. I don't have matching number's motor but do have a pacer engine in storage.It's grouse to see a site dedicated to Pacers & kind of ironic to see that ones with no options are the minority for a change.
