The car as far back as I can get info for was built by a local lawyer in the origanal colours (mid 1980's).He changed the interior to the maroon trim, and fitted a 360 with auto.
The car then changed hands a few times. One previous owner banged the car up in the front end and folded the bonnet back. The car was then sold with a 340 but never ran as engine was in pieces.
I bought the car and stripped all the damaged panels and rebuilt it as I was looking for a car to build to go racing with. The car got a second chance of life with me as I could not see much of a future for it in the state it was in.
The car has won best competiton vehicle and was recently in Street machine magazine.
Powered by a 470 cube big block alluminium heads, titanium valve train. Custom ross pistons.Engine built and maintained by me.
The rear end is a ladder bar setup but I kept the original mounting positions to revert car back if I wish at a latter date. The chassis was built by me.
Important information about ads: This site has been running for 22 years, providing information about Chrysler Valiant Pacers. The site has never made a penny (it was never intended to do so) and was built for the love of Pacers, however it has always cost money to run. In 2018 I put some ad's on the site to see if the website can somehow cover its costs and so far the ads look like they'll cover about 50% of the annual running costs. If you see an ad that interests you, please click on it, as it will help!
